IK Type (Steel Body)
■ Overview
IK Type Large Ball Size = φ3/4 - 5"(19.05 - 127mm)
Ball down basic type.
Rotates freely in 360 degree direction like a castor.
■ Feature
Downward-only type that easily moves heavy cargo with quarter-turns.
This user-friendly product can move freely in all directions including quarter-turns (in 90°s). It is superior for the transportation of heavy cargo. You can move a 1,000kg cargo with the force of about 15kg. It is mainly used for trucks to move or change directions of heavy cargo. It is also suitable for earthquake-resistant floors for computer rooms or similar delicate environments.
Nylon and ceramic ball, rust resistance type, hard chrome finishing is also available upon request.
■ Note
We tested four units of IK-51, article weight 1,000 kg on rail hardness of HRC55 or equivalent grade, the initial resistance is about 15kg. For SS metal, the figure will be two times or more.
Large ball hardness is HRC62; the material in contact should have the same hardness. Initial resistance will differ depending on the hardness.
